Just got back last night from visiting Daniel! I'll post pictures and tell you about it soon. In the meantime, here is a short update on our previo. I received this from our agency yesterday:
"I did want to give you a status update on the certificate of being single that we are waiting for. The municipality has said it will be at least next week before it is finished, due to holidays this Thursday, Friday and next Monday. I will keep my fingers crossed that they are able to get it early next week when the offices re-open and then get you back into PGN."
By the way, they have a LOT of holidays in Guatemala! All Saints Day is important in the rural areas. (I asked the airport shuttle driver about it.)
