Now that a bill was passed that contains a grandfather clause, our agency has given us permission to visit Daniel again. Yayyyy! We are taking the red-eye on Wednesday, Jan. 2 and arriving very early Thursday morning. We'll take a short nap in our hotel room before Rosa (his foster mother) brings Daniel to us. We'll have Danny with us until Rosa and Carlos pick him up on Monday night (Jan. 7). That gives us almost 5 days with our little guy! Then we'll fly home early Tuesday morning.
We never dreamed we'd be making so many trips to Guatemala. But, we also didn't anticipate that Danny would be there so long. He'll be just over 9 months old when we see him next. That's more than 2 months between visits, and babies grow and change so quickly. We are very grateful that we have the opportunity to spend time with him, even if they are short visits!

YAY for you getting to visit again. Your trip gives me something to look forward to if I am still there....and that could really happen. We arrive on Sunday! Keep checking my blog for updates.
